Let me introduce myself, for those of you who don’t know me. I have been sewing since I was about seven years old, thanks to a very patient mother. I am a former Home Economics teacher, and quilt shop owner. I have designed fabric, blocks of the month and patterns. My quilt shop customers pleaded with me to stay in touch after the quilt shop closed, so here is my blog so that I can do just that.
This blog will be filled with quilting tips and techniques, as I love to share my knowledge and love of not only quilting but sewing. I also enjoy gardening, reading and hopefully grandchildren someday.
Please feel free to share this blog with all of your sewing friends. If you would like to receive notification of a new blog sign up to receive an email notice.
I am very excited to again be a part of Quilt Expo in Madison Wisconsin coming up September 10-12.
Each day at 10am I will be presenting a new lecture Stash Magic. Do you have piles of fabric like this in your sewing room?
Let me show you how magical your stash and scraps can truly be. Let’s start out by getting them organized, then I will show you the magical quilts to make such as Geese in the Cabin!
Then each afternoon I will be in the Husqvarna Viking classroom presenting a workshop on the log cabin variation –Geese in the Cabin. This scrap quilt is fun for quilters of all levels and will put a great dent in your stash.
I hope you can join thousands of us as we meet up at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison WI. For more info go to the website: wiquiltexpo.com
Till next week,
