Ann's love of sewing and fiber arts started at an early age. You could say it is in her blood, her mother and both grandmothers did all kinds of sewing, knitting and other fiber related crafts. Ann took that enjoyment to the next level when planning her career, with a major in Home Economics Education. Ann has taught sewing and quilting classes for over thirty years, locally for quilt guilds and state technical colleges, and across the country for shops, guilds, and fabric companies. Ann has built a national reputation designing for fabric companies, magazines and her own pattern company. Ann owned and operated the Quilted Basket quilt shop for nearly 15 years. Ann recently closed her quilt shop, so now she has more time to teach and design. Her first love has always been sharing current techniques and sharing her love of quilting and sewing.
